據經典中記載，以至誠心點燈供佛，獲福無量；此福，使人生生世世相貌莊嚴，心常歡喜，資財充足，光明平安，也就是點燈供佛，具無量福報，無有病苦，長壽綿延，智慧圓滿。明月居士林為使十方善信大德廣植福田，特設光明燈供眾發心廣修供養。

LONGEVITY HALL LIGHT OFFERING

 

According to the sutra, lighting a lamp with utmost sincerity to offer to the Buddha brings boundless blessings. These blessings ensure that in each lifetime, one will have a dignified appearance, constant joy, ample wealth, brightness, and peace. Lighting a lamp for the Buddha bestows unlimited blessings, free from illness and suffering, with longevity, and perfect wisdom. To enable benefactors from all directions to cultivate fields of merit, Ming Ya Buddhist Foundation has specially established the Light Offering to encourage widespread offerings.
